Dayton Metro Library and Oral Funk Poetry Productions (OFP) will present A Poetic Medley: Dunbar 150 Tribute, Lyrics. Love. Legacy., on Saturday, August 13, from 7-8:30 pm, in the Main Library’s Eichelberger Forum.
Paul Laurence Dunbar’s 150th birthday was on June 27. In celebration of this historic anniversary, Sierra Leone, president, artistic director, and co-founder of OFP Theatre and Production Company, brings together a cast ensemble that will deliver a production full of passion and energy. Patrons will be able to experience urban roots and Black creativity through the eyes of Gem City and Dunbar.
