Introducing…Mary Beth Whitley and Encaustics

Join the DSA and Mary Beth Whitley for a demo and talk about her work that integrates nature, photography and the encaustic process at the Dayton Society of Artists: Sunday, March 8, 1:30-4:30 pm. A hands-on workshop for leaf-embellishment will be offered following the demo and talk. Materials for the workshop will be provided by the artist and a $5 material fee has been included in the workshop cost. $20 Members, $12 Student Members, $30 Non-Members. Register today!
The purpose of the workshop series, Introducing…, is to acquaint DSA members and the community with different mediums and methods in the visual arts. Attendees will get to know the instructing artist, their background, and tips and tricks of their trade. Fees received through this series will compensate the artist for their time and will support future DSA programming. By attending you’ll be supporting local artists as well as gaining knowledge in a unique medium!
