Toxic Brew Co will be starting a monthly LGBTQ mixer in our taproom, and we’re kicking it off with a party to commemorate the Stonewall Riots of 1969.
This summer will be 50 years since the fateful weekend at Greenwich Village’s Stonewall Inn, when members of New York City’s gay community fought back against police and governmental oppression and violence. The following year saw the first ever Pride Parades, and the modern LGBTQ rights movement was born.
$1 for every pint of Toxic Brew Co beer sold will benefit Greater Dayton LGBT Center, as will the proceeds from prizes and raffle baskets throughout the night. And DJ Etch will be spinning his funkiest vinyl records from 8:00-midnight. Come celebrate with us, have a good drink, dance to some good music, and help raise some money for the best of causes. Cheers.
