SUMMARY:Oktoberfest
DESCRIPTION:Raise your glass for the return of Oktoberfest\, presented by Miller Lite\, taking place September 26-28\, 2025 on the Dayton Art Institute museum grounds. A Dayton tradition established in 1971\, DAI’s Oktoberfest is southwest Ohio’s longest-running Oktoberfest celebration and the museum’s largest annual fundraiser. Money raised by Oktoberfest helps support everything we do at the Dayton Art Institute. Oktoberfest kicks off on September 26 with a Lederhosen Lunch (11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) and the Preview Party (7 to 11 p.m.) Then it’s two full days of Oktoberfest fun\, from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday\, September 27 and noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday\, September 28! Tickets go on sale August 6. Remember to bring your ID with you to check-in at the gate. Ohio liquor laws require us to wristband all patrons over the age of 21\, regardless of their intended beverage consumption. Check back often on the DAI Octoberfest website for updates!

SUMMARY:Oktoberfest Steinholding Competition
DESCRIPTION:Test Your Strength in the Oktoberfest Steinholding Competition\, presented by Pella Windows & Doors of Dayton! Masskrugstemmen\, or beer Steinholding\, is a relatively new sport in America\, but its popularity has been growing quickly. We are excited to bring this longstanding sport to the Dayton Art Institute’s Oktoberfest as an official U.S. Steinholding Association qualifying event! Our Steinholding competition will be held on Sunday\, Sept. 28\, 2025\, at 2 p.m. in front of the main museum entrance. Meet us at the food court stage at 1:45 p.m. to check in for the competition.
