As well as our recreational team\, Purple Haze. Check out our family friendly upcoming events to attend a bout and see us play in person! Roller derby is an athletic pursuit of skating fast and hitting hard. Using quick thinking strategy to gain the most points to win the bout\, all while avoiding time in the penalty box. Psychedelic performance band Electrocult Circus and veil dancer Shayla Hill will kick off the evening with an otherworldly performance to raise the vibes. This event will feature the magic of DJ’s Andrew Davis\, DJ Brooke T and DJ NJ. who will be sparking up the blacklight dance floor. There will be multiple intuitive readers and local vendors to enhance the evening and many experience stations and immersive art activities that will tickle your third eye. This event will once again feature the sensory area where there will be free energy work\, healing touch ASMR\, aromatherapy and more. You will be gifted a beautiful sound bath and hypnosis by Mystic Sigil to close the evening. You will leave renewed\, inspired and shapeshifted.

DESCRIPTION:March 15–June 8\, 2025 \nA distinguished figure in contemporary art\, Jamie Wyeth is recognized for his fiercely independent\, realistic approach to art. This exhibition follows Wyeth’s entire career and looks at a specifically darker thread within his oeuvre of troubling and unnerving imagery. Unsettled is divided into three distinct sections: “Strangers and Specters;” “Natural and Supernatural Worlds;” and “Haunted Places and Disturbing Spaces.” Drawn from museums and private collections from across the country\, the DAI is the exclusive Ohio venue and the final stop for this major traveling exhibition. Organized by the Brandywine Museum of Art.

DESCRIPTION:Inspired by mid-century artists such as Robert Motherwell\, Joan Mitchell\, and Franz Kline\, Susanne Scherette King’s strong colors\, movement and motion\, and wide range of style make up the title of her show: Sway – Opening Reception on Thursday\, April 3rd from 6pm-9pm – Artist Talk on Saturday\, April 12th from 2pm-4pm For Susanne\, sway is motion\, range\, and scope. Over the 25 years of painting\, her style continues to change and evolve. She has created a diverse range of work for this show. Susanne has a B.S. degree in education from Valparaiso University and a master’s degree in differentiated instruction from Graceland University. She is a self-taught artist. Professionally she taught jr. high language arts and also independently designed. perennial gardens for many years After two life changing medical events\, her teaching career ended\, but by making some modifications in technique she continued to paint. She has had gallery shows in Dayton\, Columbus\, Indianapolis\, and Philadelphia. Lite refreshments served. Free on-street parking. \n

DESCRIPTION:What is Out on 5th? \nOut on 5th is the street closure of Fifth Street in the Oregon District of downtown Dayton on weekends. \nClosing down Fifth Street from Patterson Boulevard to Wayne Avenue every Friday night through Sunday evening allows\nour business district to open up the street for guests to shop – dine – and relax in the open air. \n\n\nOut on 5th gives restaurants and bars in the district room to expand patio seating into the streets. \n\n\nFifth Street is filled with public seating to allow guests room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. \n\n\nRetail shops can use extra sidewalk space in front of their business for sales.
