DESCRIPTION:One night only – 3 solo sets from Kate Wakefield (LUNG – new solo album “everything goes around and around”)\, Nick Kizirnis (latest album “Every Moment” on ATOM Records) and Eric McM (Caravan Discordia\, Carrie Nation) Kate Wakefield is a touring musician based out of Cincinnati\, Ohio. She has been writing and performing experimental rock and indie music on her cello since 2014. She writes and performs with a heavy rock band called Lung\, and plays and records solo music under her name as well. Wakefield formed the band Lung with her friend and drummer Daisy Caplan in 2016. Since then\, they have played over 900 shows across the United States and Canada. As a solo artist\, Wakefield has a collection of 3 full-length records (“Unkind”\, “Eyes in Walls are Louder” and her latest album “everything goes around and around”) and numerous EP’s. Wakefield grew up in Ann Arbor Michigan and enjoyed playing the cello from a young age. She received a bachelors degree in vocal performance from the University of Michigan in 2010 and holds a masters degree in operatic performance from Cincinnati’s Conservatory of Music. In 2013\, she developed a vocal disorder that put her operatic career on hold. She picked up her cello\, and began writing music to help her through the experience. When her voice came back\, she had no desire to go back to the world of opera and continued writing and playing her own compositions in music bars and clubs around the country.

SUMMARY:Exhibit: Beyond Guilt
DESCRIPTION:Beyond Guilt is a compelling visual experience that tells the powerful and redemptive stories of those impacted by over-sentencing and over-punishment. This exhibit will be available for public view during our normal operating hours from August 15\, 2025 through November 9\, 2025. In their stories we learn about the human consequences of second chances and the ethical necessity to see and treat people beyond their guilt. The exhibition features a growing collection of work\, including thirteen short films\, a powerful photo series by Cincinnati artist\, Harriet Kaufman\, and works of art across visual\, written\, andother media by incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals whose stories embody the mission of Beyond Guilt. The exhibition is a collaboration with the International Peace Museum and the Ohio Justice & Policy Center’s Beyond Guilt project – a state-wide advocacy project that serves incarcerated people who have been over-sentenced and demonstrate the ability to be safely released from prison. DESCRIPTION:October 18\, 2025–January 11\, 2026 \nThe Triumph of Nature presents the refined\, ever-popular and elegant curvilinear designs and nature-based motifs of Art Nouveau. From the rich holdings of the Chrysler Museum of Art\, more than 120 turn-of-the-20th century treasures are included\, with works by Tiffany\, Mucha\, Gallé\, Beardsley and many others. Furniture\, paintings\, sculpture\, mosaics\, books\, posters\, prints\, lamps\, glass art and more highlight the innovative ways artists made harmonious visual arrangements. The DAI is the exclusive Ohio venue for this major traveling exhibition.

SUMMARY:Exhibit: Beyond Guilt
DESCRIPTION:Beyond Guilt is a compelling visual experience that tells the powerful and redemptive stories of those impacted by over-sentencing and over-punishment. This exhibit will be available for public view during our normal operating hours from August 15\, 2025 through November 9\, 2025. In their stories we learn about the human consequences of second chances and the ethical necessity to see and treat people beyond their guilt. The exhibition features a growing collection of work\, including thirteen short films\, a powerful photo series by Cincinnati artist\, Harriet Kaufman\, and works of art across visual\, written\, andother media by incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals whose stories embody the mission of Beyond Guilt. The exhibition is a collaboration with the International Peace Museum and the Ohio Justice & Policy Center’s Beyond Guilt project – a state-wide advocacy project that serves incarcerated people who have been over-sentenced and demonstrate the ability to be safely released from prison.
