SUMMARY:Classic Albums Live Presents The Lithium Experience
DESCRIPTION:Funny to think that ’90s music is now nostalgic. Heavy grunge. Killer alternative. Just like the Classic Albums Live you know and love\, THE LITHIUM EXPERIENCE is note for note… But this time\, it’s a few cuts from each of the big hitters – Stone Temple Pilots\, Pearl Jam\, Nirvana\, Soundgarden\, Jane’s Addiction – and even some surprises. Classic Albums Live is not a cover band and not an impersonation. These world-class musicians go to great lengths to faithfully create every sound on the original albums in a concert setting.

SUMMARY:A Night Of Bigfoot With Dr. Mireya Mayor & Russell Acord
DESCRIPTION:Live the adventure. Discover the impossible. Join the stars of Discovery Channel’s hit show “Expedition Bigfoot” for a thrilling night of legend\, lore\, and the untamed wild! National Geographic explorer and primatologist Dr. Mireya Mayor and Army veteran and survival expert Russell Acord work alongside an elite team of Sasquatch specialists as they journey into the unforgiving North American wilderness to prove once and for all that the elusive beast known as Bigfoot exists. The team utilizes advanced data algorithms to pinpoint the best locations and times to encounter Bigfoot\, rather than relying solely on anecdotal evidence. Their aim? To move the creature from the realm of legend into reality. Composed of experts in various fields\, including biology and wilderness survival\, the team members work to gather physical evidence of Bigfoot’s existence through rigorous investigation. “Expedition Bigfoot” has been running since 2019 and has produced 60 episodes across six seasons. The evening includes an opportunity to meet with Mireya and Russell and shop for Bigfoot memorabilia. \nDr. Mireya Mayor is a primatologist\, explorer\, National Science Foundation fellow\, Fulbright scholar\, and Emmy Award–nominated wildlife correspondent for the National Geographic Channel. Her explorations have led to several scientific discoveries\, most notably her co-discovery in Madagascar of the world’s smallest primate. Mireya has hosted dozens of documentaries\, is the author of the bestselling book Pink Boots And A Machete\, and is the subject of an award-winning children’s book\, Just Wild Enough. Mireya is also executive director of exploration and science communications at Florida International University\, where she is helping scientists effectively communicate complex topics. She’s been recognized as a National Geographic Emerging Explorer\, a Fulbright Global Changemaker\, and one of Stony Brook University’s “40 Under Forty.” \nAs an author\, filmmaker\, and nuclear industry professional\, Russell Acord also explores the North American wilderness with his fellow researchers on the trail of Bigfoot. Born on the East Coast\, Russell moved with his family to Montana as a child. Captivated by the majestic scenery\, he never looked back. As an adult\, Russell answered the “call of patriotism” and enlisted in the Army\, embarking on the greatest highs and toughest lows of his life. He experienced many countries\, cultures\, and adventures as a soldier and\, honorably discharged\, he headed to college. Minoring in civil engineering and majoring in safety and health management\, Russell honored the military by graduating magna cum laude and began his career in nuclear safety and as an author. His Bitterroot series of two books so far – Footprints Of A Legend and Bigfoot And The Tripwire – offer captivating fictional accounts that combine his experience in the military with his adventures searching for Bigfoot.

SUMMARY:Another Evening For Justice: Benefiting The Ohio Innocence Project
DESCRIPTION:The evening will be in two acts. At the conclusion of the event\, those who have purchased a VIP ticket are invited to attend a reception with the event speakers across the street from the Victoria Theatre in the Schuster Center Wintergarden. \nAct I:\nWhat happens when six wrongfully convicted men take the stage to tell their own stories – not only as actors\, but as survivors? The Lynched Among Us is a groundbreaking theatrical production that brings together six wrongfully convicted men to reclaim their narratives and speak truth to a broken system. Written in their own words\, this production is more than a play – it is a living testimony. These men step into the spotlight not just to perform\, but to bear witness – exposing the pain\, injustice\, and long-term impact of being accused and convicted for crimes they did not commit. From the trauma of incarceration to the battle for freedom and justice\, the production shines a light on what happens when justice fails – and how resilience\, community\, and truth can become acts of resistance. \nAct I will last 30 minutes and will tell the wrongful conviction story of Ohio Innocence Project client Michael Sutton\, who spent 14 years in prison for a murder he did not commit. Michael Sutton plays himself and the cast is comprised of his fellow Ohio exonerees. \nAct II:\nHosted by Gilbert King\, Pulitzer Prize winner for Devil In The Grove and creator of the hit true-crime podcast “Bone Valley\,” this Act will explore the journey of Leo Schofield\, Jr.\, who was recently freed after serving 35 years for a crime he didn’t commit – his wife’s murder. Mr. Schofield will be on hand to share his harrowing ordeal and heroic journey to freedom.

SUMMARY:Discovery: Bill Blagg’s The Science Of Magic
DESCRIPTION:This show is part of our Discovery Series\, which presents weekday field trips for area schools to experience carefully selected shows designed to enhance curriculum connections throughout various subject areas. If you are not purchasing tickets for a school or homeschool\, please click here to explore our Children’s Theatre programming. \nFor centuries\, magicians have used scientific principles to make people levitate in mid-air and vanish in the blink of an eye.
