SUMMARY:Discovery: Mayhem Poets
DESCRIPTION:“Let’s go see a poetry show.” That is a sentence rarely proclaimed and usually responded to with cringes and excuses. The MAYHEM POETS are on a mission to change that. Having been dubbed “an amazing ride” by The New York Times\, this mind-boggling performance has been described as ”‘The Simpsons’ meets Malcolm X at a Notorious B.I.G. concert.” These theatre trained\, comedically gifted\, lyrical virtuosos seamlessly blend raw elements of hip hop\, theatre\, improv and stand-up comedy to tell gut wrenching truths that leave audiences forever changed. The MAYHEM POETS’ unique approach to spoken word has landed them feature spots on the Today Show after winning first place and a grant for $100k in the Microsoft Idea Wins Challenge in 2006. Since then\, they’ve been touring internationally and spreading their mission to reshape society’s view of poetry.

SUMMARY:Brian Regan
DESCRIPTION:Critics\, fans and fellow comedians agree: BRIAN REGAN is one of the most respected comedians in the country with Vanity Fair calling Brian\, “The funniest stand-up alive\,” and Entertainment Weekly calling him\, “Your favorite comedian’s favorite comedian.” Having built his 30-plus year career on the strength of his material alone\, Brian’s non-stop theatre tour continuously fills the most beautiful venues across North America\, visiting close to 100 cities each year. \nBrian co-stars in three seasons of Peter Farrelly’s TV series “Loudermilk\,” which moved to Netflix on January 1\, 2024\, ranking in the Top 10 TV Shows on Netflix for over a month. Farrelly personally cast Brian in the series alongside Ron Livingston\, Anja Savcic\, Will Sasso and Mat Fraser. Brian received praise for his portrayal of Mugsy\, a recovering addict who is estranged from his family. The series’ first two seasons aired on AT&T’s Audience Network before moving to Amazon Prime to premiere the third season. \nIn 2021\, Brian premiered his second Netflix stand-up special\, Brian Regan: On The Rocks\, which was shot at Tuachan Center for the Arts\, an outdoor amphitheater in Utah. Brian’s first Netflix special\, Brian Regan: Nunchucks And Flamethrowers\, premiered to rave reviews in 2017\, and is also available as a vinyl album. \nBrian stars in his own Netflix series\, “Stand Up And Away! With Brian Regan\,” which premiered on Christmas Eve 2018. Brian and Jerry Seinfeld executive produce the four-episode original half-hour series that combines sketch comedy and stand-up. \nBrian made his London debut in 2019\, at The Leicester Square Theatre and he made his Kennedy Center debut with two sold-out shows in 2019. He appeared at Carnegie Hall in 2017 following years of performances in New York City’s finest theaters including Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall\, The Beacon Theater\, and Radio City Music Hall. Brian’s tour has included visits to Denver’s legendary 8\,600-seat Red Rocks Amphitheater and the 12\,500-seat EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City. \nIn 2015\, Brian made history with his stand-up special\, Brian Regan: Live From Radio City Music Hall\, as the first live broadcast of a stand-up special in Comedy Central’s history. \nA regular on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\,” Brian is the rare guest who the show invites on for two segments: a performance segment and a segment on the couch to chat with Jimmy. Previously\, Brian was a regular guest on “The Late Show With David Letterman\,” making 28 appearances on the CBS show. \nBrian made a scene-stealing cameo in Chris Rock’s film Top Five\, and he is a guest on two episodes of Seinfeld’s “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee\,” which is now streaming on Netflix.

SUMMARY:Danae Hays: The First Time Tour
DESCRIPTION:Alabama-bred and Nashville-based\, comedian\, actress\, and content creator Danae Hays represents a fresh\, new female voice in the comedy\, acting\, and music worlds. Her cast of zany southern characters and parody country music songs have pushed her to the top of the Spotify and Apple Music charts\, earning her a cumulative following of more than 3.6 million followers and nearly 2 billion views. \nDanae’s debut country/comedy single “Rode Hard” peaked at No. 5 on the Country Global iTunes Charts\, No. 8 on Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales\, No. 22 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales\, and No. 34 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists. \nEarlier this year\, Danae wrapped her debut comedy tour\, which sold out in minutes. The tour has been extended through the end of the year and transitioned into theaters. \nTrue to her multi-hyphenate nature\, Danae’s passion for acting landed her a role in Mother Nature And The Doomsday Prepper (which she just returned from filming in the spring of 2024) and Summer Camp. Additionally\, Danae has co- and guest starred alongside many of the most notable names in entertainment including Diane Keaton\, Kathy Bates\, Alfre Woodard\, Tanya Christiansen and Josh Peck.
