Many people have been affected by the Memorial Day tornadoes. Downtown’s small business community has been raising funds and rounding up items for donations nearly every day. Remember, shop and dine at local businesses. Not only are they the first to pitch in during a crisis, hundreds of their employees rely on guest patronage for their livelihoods.

- Donate to The Puerto Rican American and Caribbean Organization of Dayton at the Dayton International School Spanish Immersion Academy, 5700 Far Hills Ave., 8am-4pm June 15 & 22
- Donate Blood to the Community Blood Center
Volunteer with the United Way of the Greater Dayton Area
