Wheat Penny Oven & Bar is under construction as the restaurant expands. The $140,000 investment calls for a new, larger walk-in, creating more prep space (including dedicated pasta-making space), and enlarging the dish room. When the 1,200-square-foot expansion is ready, Wheat Penny will add operational hours, featuring Saturday and Sunday brunch options. Those changes are all slated to be completed this summer.
