Two of downtown’s educational institutions completed major projects in 2017, making renovations, updates, and expansions to their campuses.

Sinclair College
The new, $31.5 million Ned J. Sifferlen Health Sciences Center on Sinclair’s downtown campus opened in August. The new facility consolidated all of Sinclair’s healthcare programs into one building. The new space is home to 53 degree and certificate programs in fast-growing fields. Features include a surgical simulation site, a 25-chair dental clinic that serves Dayton-area residents in need, a home care simulation lab, and an EMS training room. Sinclair has made $50 million in investments to its downtown campus over the past decade.

Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School
CJ completed $2.5 million in renovations to Building 3. Other recent campus improvements include the new Roger Glass stadium, CJ Performing Arts Center, cafeteria, and Building 1 classrooms.
