Fast Facts: New e-gaming Studio to Open in the Oregon East District

Mike ColvinFast Facts

A competitive video gaming business, Connect E-Sports, has signed a lease to open in the Wheelhouse Lofts building at the corner of Fourth Street and Wayne Avenue. The competitive video gaming store will have PC and console stations where players can come into the storefront to compete against friends and others online, or take part in tournaments. Owners Bob and Mary Baldino told the Dayton Daily News they had been searching to open their business downtown and picked the Oregon East location not only because of proximity to other businesses, but because of the downtown’s support of entrepreneurs and the business community. Plans for an opening are slated for later this spring.
