The 1Eleven Flavor House, a restaurant focusing on comfort Caribbean cuisine, is now open on the ground floor at 111 West First St. in downtown Dayton. The business is currently operating a carryout lunch service from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, said chef and co-owner Demetrius Wright, but will expand to dinner service in the coming weeks once they have obtained a liquor license. The soft-opening lunch menu can be found on the 1Eleven website, and the chef said changes should be expected in the menu for their grand opening that will include dinner selections and a full bar. Customers ordering lunch carryout can call and order ahead, or order when they walk in, and online ordering will be available soon.
