The BBA Cafe, a downtown Dayton lunch spot in the lower floor of the 6 N. Main St. building that has been in a “soft opening” phase since the beginning of this year, will officially open with a kickoff on Wednesday, April 21, at 11 a.m. Dayton native and owner of the BBA (Baked by Anita) Cafe is Anita Stephens, who is taking her years of catering experience to now run the breakfast and lunch spot that serves a selection of fresh and affordable options under the tagline “Real. Good. Food.” The BBA Cafe is open Monday through Friday for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and starting on Thursday, April 22, breakfast service will begin every weekday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. The cafe will close daily between breakfast and lunch. However, Stephens told Dayton.com reporters the business door will be open for a customer to come in to grab a prepackaged snack or a coffee if they would like during those in-between hours.
