Downtown DIY Terrarium Business to Expand to Larger Storefront

Now and Zen DIY Studio, a downtown business that offers a terrarium bar/DIY studio where guests can create their own air plant and succulent terrariums, has signed a lease to move to a larger space at 121 E. Third Street in the Fire Blocks District. Paula Willis and Alleah Cooks, the mother-daughter duo who owns the business, said after a successful transition to online sales during the covid lockdown, they are excited to now expand the in-store classes, events and space for private parties. The new location will be 1,100 square feet, approximately 40% larger than their current location. Construction to build out the new space on E. Third Street will begin soon, with an anticipated opening of the new storefront in August. Until then, you can visit Now and Zen at their 37 S. St. Clair Street location in the St. Clair Lofts.
