REDISCOVER WHERE YOU WORK

RECONNECT. RECHARGE. RECONVENE.

THIS IS OUR OFFICE PARK

You’ve changed how you work, and downtown is changing too.

We’ve all gained a greater appreciation for outdoor spaces over the past year. Whether it’s for recreation, reconnecting with friends and family, or just getting out of the house – our parks, patios, and trails have helped us get through the pandemic.

With the highest combined walking and biking score in the region and a location at the center of the nation’s largest paved trail network, downtown Dayton has always been a hub for outdoors and recreation. Now office employees can work outside too.

Downtown Coworking Day

Now that you can work from anywhere, the Downtown Dayton Partnership and Five Rivers MetroParks welcomed more than 60 people to Downtown Coworking Day on September 9th to enjoy a work day in the park! RiverScape MetroPark was transformed into an outdoor coworking space complete with tables, chairs, wi-fi, coffee, and more.

This is the first of many Downtown Coworking Days we will organize over the coming year to help reconnect employer teams and bring the community’s hybrid and remote workforce together. To be notified about upcoming coworking days, contact Val Beerbower at beerbower@downtowndayton.org.

Downtown Office Patios

The DDP is partnering with downtown building owners to create outdoor work spaces adjacent to their office properties. Use these new work spaces to cowork with colleagues, huddle for meetings, or host office gatherings and socials.

If you would like your downtown office building owner to team with the DDP to add an office patio adjacent to their property, or if you’d like to use one of the downtown parks or open spaces as a location to host an outdoor meeting, please contact Elizabeth Mills at mills@downtowndayton.org.
