Several downtown Dayton restaurants are taking part in this year’s Winter Restaurant Week. The Miami Valley Restaurant Association is holding the popular event during the last week of January. Each of the 27 participating restaurants has created a special 3-course menu ranging in price from $20.22 to $45.22. A dollar from each meal sold will support the Miami Valley Down Syndrome Association and the Miami Valley Restaurant Association’s Education Foundation. Many of the participating restaurants are offering the special menu for both dine-in and carry-out orders. Six of this year’s participants also accept Downtown Dollars, the convenient, cashless currency accepted at more than 80 downtown businesses, which can be purchased on the Downtown Dayton Partnership website. Winter Restaurant Week runs through Sunday, January 30.
