The Water Street District has officially welcomed two new businesses. Brackett Builders, part of the team behind the Water Street District, held its ribbon cutting Thursday afternoon. Brackett Builders recently located its new Dayton office to the former Mendelson’s Outlet location. The company currently is working on several downtown projects, including the AC Hotel, The Sutton, and The Monument. “Over the past few years while working on construction projects in the area, we’ve really come to love downtown Dayton,” said Bracket Builders President, Tom Hoying. “When we decided to expand our corporate office, we quickly determined that there was no better place than Water Street for our new headquarters.” Moeller Brew Barn, located just a few steps away from Brackett Builders’ new headquarters, also held its ribbon cutting on Thursday. Moeller Brew Barn will officially open to the public at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 19, with live music planned through the weekend to celebrate the grand opening. This will be the third location for the brewpub.
