Are you ready for the dance tour of the millennia? Dayton Contemporary Dance Company presents THE BLACK TOUR, a holistic journey through art and cultural experience through four performance narratives. Featuring new work by 2021 Guggenheim Fellow Tommie Waheed Evans, this community cultural event will premier in Dayton, and proceed to engage museum, gallery and Historically Black Colleges and University spaces nation-wide. THE BLACK TOUR will ignite the power of black dance to redefine the culture of performance and present a new future for dance art. Do not miss this opportunity to experience transformational future of art through the perspective of the Black Experience. Presented by the performative excellence of the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company.
