Two downtown shops are celebrating grand opening events as part of the April 6 First Friday festivities. Both businesses got their start as Activated Spaces Pop-Up Shops, and after many years in business, are still going strong.
- Beaute Box, 20 W. Monument Ave., will host an open house event featuring complimentary hand massages, nail polish changes, brow threading, and more as the small business commemorates its move from its first location into the new, larger space on Monument Avenue. A new beauty business, Only Virgin Hair, also will launch inside the co-located shop.
- Spice Paradise, 16 Brown St., welcomes patrons back to the shop after being displaced by a fire in the building earlier this year. Guests can enjoy samples of products, an expanded inventory with new merchandise, and take 10% off all purchases during the grand opening sale.
