A Cincinnati-based shoe retailer is bringing business to downtown Dayton. Corporate, a clothing and sneaker specialty store, will open its third location this Saturday, July 22, in the Fire Blocks District at 119 E. Third St. The business’ first location opened in 2008 in Cincinnati before opening a second storefront in Indianapolis in 2021. According to Corporate’s website, the store carries its own branded merchandise as well as several different shoe brands including Nike, Converse, Adidas, and others. Corporate’s owner, Matt Tomamichel, tells the Dayton Business Journal that he hopes Corporate will add to the community downtown.
“In all honestly, I see a lot of potential to give the city what I hope they feel as a place of familiarity as well,” Tomamichel said. “Who doesn’t like the feel of a barber shop with sneakers, clothing and good music.”
