There’s always something fun going on downtown! Below you’ll find a list of events scheduled for today. Use the filters at the top to find events by date, keyword, and more. You can also view the calendar by month or as a list of 20 events at a time.

Dayton Metro Library will host Dayton Metro Library’s Writer and Author Symposium at the Main Library, Saturday, September 23, from 10:30 am to 4 pm.
The symposium aims to inspire writers, motivate authors, and encourage readers. Patrons will connect with local writers and authors by attending workshops and participating in mini writing-themed activities. Writers and authors will share what inspires their writing and what tools shape their creativity. Books written by local authors will also be for sale.
Twenty-eight local writers and authors are scheduled to attend. The workshop schedule is as follows:
