Pitch AM: Hosted by the Entrepreneurs’ Center
Pitch AM is a morning pitch series designed to provide Dayton startups with a valuable opportunity to connect their founders with what they need most in the early stages of development, like feedback, strategic partners, mentors, and employees. Two new ventures will pitch their business plans and discuss current needs for 10 minutes each, followed by a five-minute Q&A with the audience.

Come to The Hub, sign in at the front desk, and start working in downtown Dayton’s most iconic coworking space! This free event is an opportunity to cowork with other freelancers, entrepreneurs, or those who just need to get out of the office for a day.
9:00–11:00a Open Office Hours: Kim Woodbury, SBDC
The Small Business Development Center provides business support, access to small business programming, coaching, and mentoring to more than 800 main street businesses regionally. Come by for a complimentary one-on-one session with Kim and make some significant progress in your startup.
12:00–1:00p The Hub Lunch & Learn: Val Beerbower, Sinclair Workforce Development
Calling all small business owners! Sinclair College is offering an educational program for all business owners that takes place from May through August this summer. The 14-week program takes scholars on a deep dive through different topics related to small business management. You’ll learn more about financial forecasting, employee coaching,, and interview techniques, developing your company culture, marketing trends, customer profiles, systems and operational procedures, how to get access to capital, and more. Thanks to a grant from the Goldman Sachs Foundation, this program is offered at no cost to business owners who participate. Curious?
