A new campaign initiative is underway at downtown’s Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School. Ascend is a $25 million effort that will allow the school to launch strategies to best serve students, and serve a growing enrollment. Once funded, the initiative will allow every CJ student to attend a mission trip or pilgrimage during their time at the school and will allow for additional student services to be added to the campus. A number of campus improvements have already been funded by Ascend, including the recent purchase of two nearby buildings and relocation of the school’s chapel, admissions office, and health clinic to the main school building.
Benefactors have already pledged and gifted $18 million toward the goal. The school will seek the remaining $7 million of gifts from the community in order to create new and exciting opportunities for the CJ and its students. More information and donation opportunities are available on the Ascend website.
