There’s always something fun going on downtown! Below you’ll find a list of events scheduled for today. Use the filters at the top to find events by date, keyword, and more. You can also view the calendar by month or as a list of 20 events at a time.

Day of the Dead at the Library

Event Navigation
Multiple altars are created around the Library and the community has come together to grow a Tree of Life so patrons can remember those who are no longer with us. The physical tree with names, photos, and stories will be presented at the Día de Muertos Festival. From 12-2 pm, there will be free Catrina face painting sessions, and at 2 pm, a parade will visit the altars around the Library, ending in the Eichelberger Forum to a performance by Orgullo Mexicano and Troupe Roja. (All Ages)
