Join us for a discussion and screening of the 2012 drama directed by Michael Haneke. Retired music teachers Georges and Anne have spent their lives devoted to their careers and too each other. The couple’s bond of love is severely tested when Anne suffers a debilitating stroke; and though Georges himself suffers from the aches and infirmities of old age, he is determined to keep his promise to her that she never goes back to the hospital. Following the film, there will be a discussion led by Trish Burke-Williams, Sinclair College
