Luxid Funk/R&B Series
Disco/Soul
Say She She, the female-led discodelic soul band, is making waves with their sophomore album, Silver. Fronted by the harmonizing trio of Piya Malik, Sabrina Mileo Cunningham, and Nya Gazelle Brown, the band blends buttery vocals, funky basslines, and up-tempo grooves to create a unique sound described as “boundary-busting discodelic soul.” Recorded live to tape, Silver showcases their punk-chic, femme-forward sensibility and has been praised for its joyful elation and spiritual elevation. Don’t miss their electrifying performance at Levitt Pavilion Dayton!
Project Unlimited Gem Series Opener: REN1
REN1, is a singer, songwriter, cultural strategist, and soul-shifter born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. With roots grounded in gospel, dance, and storytelling, REN1 weaves healing, Black culture, and radical truth-telling into every note and lyric.
A graduate of Stivers School for the Arts and Wright State University with a degree in Organizational Leadership focused on Youth & Community Engagement, she blends artistry with purpose—singing not just to entertain, but to transform. From youth choirs and sacred stages to sharing the mic with gospel greats like Jonathan McReynolds and Tonya Baker, her voice carries a timeless soul and a fresh vision.
This summer, REN1 brings songs from her debut EP Testimony—a sonic journey of liberation, love, and becoming. More than a performer, she’s a vessel for reimagining the world through sound, movement, and spirit.
