Dayton Metro Library will explore trans and LGBTQIA+ advocacy and more with two key programs featuring authors with powerful voices.
American Teenager: A Conversation on Supporting Trans Youth with Author Nico Lang will be held Tuesday, August 5, 6:30-8 pm, at the Greater Dayton LGBT Center. All ages are invited to this important conversation with Lang, author of American Teenager: How Trans Kids are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy in Turbulent Times, which was recently named a Stonewall Honor Book in Non-Fiction by the American Library Association.
This program is in partnership with PFLAG Dayton, Closet Transformation, the Greater Dayton LGBT Center, and the Gatlyn Dame Group. The Greater Dayton LGBT Center is located at 136 North St. Clair Street, Dayton, 45402. Registration is not required for this event.
