Downtown Dayton welcomed two new businesses in recent weeks, with another announcing its plan to open soon.
The highly anticipated mezcal and espresso bar, Lucho, opened its doors at 37 W. Fourth St. in the Dayton Arcade earlier this month. The restaurant also offers a variety of tacos, burritos, and more for breakfast, lunch and dinner. According to the Dayton Daily News, Lucho’s owner, Charlie Carroll, has teamed up with Shane Anderson of Ghostlight Coffee to further enhance the new restaurant. Another of Carroll’s concepts, The Dessert Room, is expected to open in the space adjacent to Lucho later this fall.
The Dayton Arcade is continuing the momentum of new offerings by announcing another of its upcoming North Arcade tenants. Nook & Needle will offer a variety of needlework and cross-stitch supplies for all skill levels as well as a carefully curated book selection. Nook & Needle is also expected to open this fall.
Just a few blocks away at 204 Wayne Avenue, wellness and mindfulness take the floor at Soleil Movement Studio. The Studio will offer a variety of low-impact movement and wellness classes like yoga, mat pilates, barre, sound healing and more. Soleil Movement Studio hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening earlier this month before opening for its first classes on August 18.
