The DML Fatherhood Academy is dedicated to empowering Black fathers in Montgomery County and surrounding areas through Structured Book Clubs and Positive Parenting strategies. Our mission is to strengthen literacy, parenting skills, and mental health by offering high-quality educational, arts, and social programs for fathers and their families. Fathers participate in quarterly sessions at the Main Library, where they engage in activities that foster positive social-emotional growth, creative and critical thinking, life skills, and interactive mindfulness.
