After appearing in last week’s Dayton Holiday Festival Grande Illumination Parade, the Greater Dayton RTA’s 77-year-old Christmas Trolley will be making its way around Dayton this holiday season. The trolley will offer free rides through Downtown Dayton during December and will host public events at Wright Stop Plaza from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday December 6, 13, and 20.
According to Spectrum News 1, the RTA Christmas Trolley is a 1948 Marmon-Herrington TC-48 #559; one of only five operable trolleys of its kind worldwide.
