Smales pretzels have been made the same way in Dayton, Ohio, for over 100 years using just four ingredients: flour, water, yeast and salt. The bakery’s newest location is in the Dayton Arcade, just as it was decades ago, offering soft and hard pretzels, along with a few extras.
