Businesses located inside of the historic Dayton Arcade’s North Arcade are preparing to open their doors to the public. The grand opening of the fully restored North Arcade will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on First Friday, March 6. Then on Saturday, March 7, the public is invited to Arcade Commons from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring a fitness sampler alongside local shopping, art, and community fun. The marketplace entrance at 24 W. Third St. will allow shoppers and revelers to visit with local tenants, including Luke’s Custom Cakes, Smales Pretzel Bakery, Pink Moon Goods, Too, Maria’s at the Market, Tiffany’s on Third, and Arcade Events.

“The Dayton Arcade has always been about community, creativity, and opportunity,” said Mindi Wardell, Operations Manager for the Arcade. “This next phase opens doors, literally, for residents, students, visitors, and entrepreneurs. The North Arcade is more than a marketplace; it’s a celebration of Dayton’s resilience and imagination.”

The North Arcade is the final phase of the Dayton Arcade to open to the public. Renovation of the nine-building complex began in 2023.
