The City of Dayton Planning Division is launching a new community effort to modernize zoning regulations and processes city wide. With the help of resident feedback, AdaptDayton will help the city review its current zoning code to ensure it’s aligned with national trends and standards. The current zoning code and map were first adopted in 2006 with only small changes taking place in the time since. During the first phase of the project, the city will continue working alongside Ohio cities that are currently or have recently made zoning reforms while also collecting input from local stakeholders.
