Dayton Metro Library will host TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures Livestream, Saturday, June 13, 10:30 am-6 pm, in the Main Library’s Eichelberger Forum. Approximately 15 new TED Talks focusing on the evolution and future of democracy will be livestreamed to DML from Philadelphia. This day-long symposium will be divided into three sessions with breaks in between. TED Topics will range from media literacy and race to the intersection of AI and democracy, economic equity, and more. This event is in conjunction with DML’s America 250 programming, ideal for adult patrons, and is sponsored by the Charles F. Kettering Foundation. Registration required.
