Belle of Dayton has added something new to its lineup of hand-crafted and award-winning liquors. The distillery’s Habana Joe Spiced Rum is made with vanilla and several different natural spices. Habana Joe rum will be featured on the Van Buren Room’s cocktail menu and sold by the bottle at the Belle of Dayton distillery. Both businesses are located at 122 Van Buren St. in the Oregon District. Customers can also find the rum at liquor stores around the Miami Valley. Because of a current bottle shortage, the distillery is using both dark green and clear glass in order to meet demand. Creators of the rum chose to name the spirit after famous Prohibition rum-runner, Habana Joe. 750ml bottles are now available for purchase for $17.95.
