A popular local coffee company is bringing its headquarters to downtown Dayton. Boston Stoker Coffee Co. is currently headquartered in Vandalia, but plans to make the move downtown in March of this year. The new headquarters will be located at 205 E. First Street. Boston Stoker currently has a location downtown at 34 W. Second St., three other locations in the greater Dayton area, and one in Columbus. The new headquarters location will house 10 corporate employees and will include a coffee bar to serve as a training facility for new employees. Henry Dean, president and CEO of Boston Stoker, tells the Dayton Business Journal that the company is planning to open a new location in Dublin later this year while identifying other potential new locations in Dayton and Cincinnati. Dean says the plan was always to move the corporate office downtown. “We are a Dayton-based company and wanted our office to be in Dayton,” Dean said. “The number one reason is to be downtown and in the middle of everything.”
