Members of the community are invited to share their thoughts about five designs proposed for the 8/4 Memorial. Five artist teams selected as semi-finalists in a nationwide request for proposals (RFP) process shared their design ideas to the public and panel of jurors last month. Those presentations are now available to be viewed on Dayton.com. While this is not a contest or a vote, members of the public are encouraged to review proposed designs and share their feedback through Monday, June 19. A panel of local jurors will take all feedback into consideration before selecting one of the five designs to serve as a memorial for the victims of the tragic events that took place in the Oregon District on August 4, 2019.
