Community Resiliency Forum to Be Held

Mike ColvinFast Facts

A forum will be held this Thursday, October 21, to discuss where we are two years after the tragic violence impacted our community in the Oregon District in August of 2019. The Community Resiliency Forum, held at the Dayton Metro Library from 6 to 7:30 p.m., will provide helpful information and resources for those still struggling with safety, security, and vulnerability issues. Members of the Oregon District Permanent Memorial Committee will be present to share updates and listen to suggestions as plans are finalized for a memorial to those who lost their lives, those who suffered injury, and those who were affected that night. The public is invited to attend the forum – please RSVP by emailing 8.4.19.memorial@gmail.com or by texting or calling 937-985-1628
