Weyland Ventures, the Louisville-based developer that has worked on several projects in Dayton, including the Wheelhouse Lofts building, will open a co-working business called Genuine Work in the Motor Car Building at 15 McDonough St. This location is part of Weyland’s development in the Oregon East district of downtown Dayton, which includes the Wheelhouse Lofts building and a planned apartment building adjacent to the lofts building on E. Fourth Street. This will be the first location for Genuine Work, which will have spaces for rent that include nomadic work zones, dedicated workstations, private offices and enterprise opportunities. Operators of the space said they will also actively engage the city’s business community through local partnerships.
