As a nonprofit organization, the Downtown Dayton Partnership rarely addresses ballot issues, but every so often one comes along that impacts the entire community. The Montgomery County Human Services Levy, Issue 1, provides funding for services for more than 50,000 people across Montgomery County – children who need protection from abuse and neglect, residents born with developmental disabilities, adults looking for work, and families fighting addiction. The DDP has endorsed Issue 1 to ensure Dayton’s most vulnerable residents get the care they need and deserve.
