Developer Continues Downtown Investment with Latest Acquisitions

Woodard Development is continuing its investment downtown and in the Oregon District. The developer recently purchased two additional buildings on Fifth Street. 337 and 343 E. Fifth Street were each built in the early 1900s are currently vacant. Woodard tells the Dayton Business Journal that the 337 property cannot be salvaged and will be demolished to make more room for the redevelopment of 343 E. Fifth St. Woodard says there are no immediate plans or timeline for that building’s redevelopment.

This is the latest of the Woodard’s acquisitions in the Oregon District. The developer also recently purchased the Johnston Building and Schaefer Buildings on E. Fifth St. as well as the Former United Business Service on S. Jefferson St.
