The Downtown Black Business Hop is happening this Saturday, August 14, and is part of the month-long slate of events happening across the Dayton region for Dayton’s Gem City Black Business Month. The Saturday event includes a list of downtown Black-owned businesses that will participate and you can “check in” during the event for the chance to win raffle prizes. Black Business Month nationally includes businesses and entrepreneurs across the country with events to engage, educate, and equip black entrepreneurs with the resources necessary to grow their business of all sizes. The month’s local events are a partnership between the Greater West Dayton Incubator (GWDI), The University of Dayton, Launch Dayton, the Downtown Dayton Partnership, and other community organizers.
