Local catering company, Rich Taste Catering, has announced its newest venture. The Apex is a high-end event venue on the 29th floor of Stratacache Tower, formerly home to the Dayton Racquet Club. The Dayton Racquet Club closed at the start of the pandemic, and the space has been vacant since. According to the Dayton Business Journal, the upscale event space features panoramic views of downtown as well as areas for a lounge, bar, banquets, and a restaurant. According to The Apex’s Instagram account, the space is currently open for tours by appointment only and has begun booking for 2026 & 2027 private events.
In addition to catering events around the Dayton area, Rich Taste Catering also operates the RFFG Marketplace just across the street at 110 N. Main St.
