Downtown Cocktail Lounge to Add New Dining Concept

Mike Colvin Fast Facts

Tender Mercy soon plans to add an elevated sushi concept to its underground space. Dozo will feature an a la carte menu comprised of high-quality ingredients. The restaurant will operate out of Tender Mercy’s back room, which currently holds 38 seats.

“Dozo gives folks another reason to come visit and spend time in our space, to experience something that doesn’t currently exist in Dayton,” Chris Dimmick, co-owner of Tender Mercy tells the Dayton Daily News. “I think as a company, we’ve earned the trust of the community in Dayton to keep pushing the envelope a bit, and this is our next expression.”

Once open in September, Dozo will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays at Tender Mercy. Reservations can be made on Tender Mercy’s website.
