CareSource says it will invest in a new app designed to help students improve their mental health. The app, Positiv.ly, is a product of Dayton-based Ascend Innovations. Positiv.ly was launched in April of last year to 18,000 Dayton-area students across more than 30 local schools. The app connects teens to an online community where they can share personal stories about mental health and access mental health resources. Developers of the app tell the Dayton Business Journal that they hope the investment from CareSource will help them extend Positiv.ly to reach more students.
