The team at Grist Provisions is putting the finishing touches on an expansion project. Casey Van Voorhis, who owns the restaurant alongside her husband Patrick, says the addition will provide more dining space and will also be used for private and special events. Van Voorhis says Grist is planning to offer pop-up dinners, cooking classes, wine tasting and pairing classes, and more once the space is open to the public. The new room will also be available for private events and meetings for up to 25 people at a time. Grist’s owners hope to debut the new space this weekend. Grist Provisions is located at 46 W. Fifth St. and is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.
