A local catering company is planning to reopen the food market inside the Premier Health building. Rich Taste Catering will be moving their operations to the building at 110 N. Main St. Once there, Rich Taste plans to reopen the once popular marketplace as the Richardson Family Food Group (RFFG) Marketplace. The cafeteria and marketplace closed in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The owner of Rich Taste Catering, Clarece Richardson, says the RFFG Marketplace will include a grill station, pizza station, salad bar, and a homestyle station featuring favorites from the Rich Taste Catering menu. Grab-and-go items will also be available for purchase. Richardson says she’s excited to be able to offer another dining option for downtown workers and guests.

“Obviously Premier and many companies downtown have quite a few employess that are working from home working remote,” Richardson told the Dayton Business Journal. “So for those that are downtown or those that drive into downtown for breakfast or lunch, we’ll be open.” RFFG Marketplace is expected to open on May 5. The marketplace will then be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday.
