An iconic piece of Dayton’s skyline is set to re-open its doors in just a few weeks. The Windsor Companies tells WDTN that the 22-story Deneau Tower, located at 40 W. Fourth St., is set to welcome its first residents in April. Additional residents are set to move into the tower in the coming months. Formerly an office tower, The Deneau will now be home to 147 residential units, commercial space, and a commercial restaurant.
“The renovation of this building is beyond a renovation, it’s a revival installation of Dayton, its culture, its history,” said Amanda Cunningham, Windsor Companies district property manager.
Project managers for The Deneau say crews used a first-of-its-kind insulated glass throughout the building with hopes to provide some of the highest energy efficiency apartments in the region.
