Local businesswoman Tae Winston is on a mission to help others make their business dreams a reality. She left a corporate job behind to launch the city’s first permanent pop-up shop in December 2019 and will now open a new location, called The Entrepreneurs Connection, at 200 Wayne Ave. in the Oregon District. Along with providing a retail space for local vendors to sell their wares, the storefront will also offer those business owners courses on important things to know when starting a business, from financial and tax information to establishing limited liability companies and trademarks. The Entrepreneurs Connection will celebrate with a grand opening event on Sunday, April 25, from 4 to 8 p.m., and business hours after that will be Thursday through Sunday. The vendors inside The Entrepreneurs Connection will also be showcased on the business’ Facebook page.
